# MiniTime vs Dotted

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dotted at weekly against MiniTime's every 4 months. Dotted also leads on device support (5 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MiniTime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dotted sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MiniTime ships an update every 4 months, Dotted weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
