# MiniTime vs Pomodoro Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pomodoro Timer at every 3 days against MiniTime's every 4 months. Pomodoro Timer also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MiniTime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pomodoro Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MiniTime ships an update every 4 months, Pomodoro Timer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
