# MiniTime vs Float

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Float at none against MiniTime's 1. Float also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MiniTime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Float asks for nothing beyond the download.

MiniTime ships an update every 4 months, Float every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
