# RepBlock vs Lockin

The clearest difference is ads: RepBlock at none against Lockin's shown. Lockin's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RepBlock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lockin sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RepBlock ships an update fortnightly, Lockin every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
