# Prism Notes vs Gracefully

The clearest difference is monetization model: Prism Notes at free against Gracefully's freemium. Prism Notes also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prism Notes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Gracefully sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Prism Notes against 5.0 for Gracefully. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prism Notes has 38 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Prism Notes ships an update every 3 days, Gracefully every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
