# Private Album vs privid

The clearest difference is update cadence: Private Album at every 4 days against privid's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private Album sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and privid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Private Album ships an update every 4 days, privid every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
