# Pulse vs DayCast

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulse at every 3 days against DayCast's every 6 days. DayCast's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pulse sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and DayCast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pulse ships an update every 3 days, DayCast every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
