# Sprout vs HomeQueue

The clearest difference is ads: Sprout at none against HomeQueue's shown. Sprout also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). HomeQueue's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sprout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and HomeQueue sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sprout ships an update every 11 days, HomeQueue every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
