# ExpenseElf vs Currency Converter

The clearest difference is ads: Currency Converter at none against ExpenseElf's shown. ExpenseElf's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ExpenseElf sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Currency Converter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ExpenseElf ships an update every 2 days, Currency Converter every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
