# Weekend Ideas vs Sidequest

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sidequest at every 6 days against Weekend Ideas's every 11 months. Sidequest also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weekend Ideas sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Sidequest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weekend Ideas ships an update every 11 months, Sidequest every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
