# Board vs Aloud

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aloud at every 2 weeks against Board's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Board sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Aloud sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Board ships an update every 2 months, Aloud every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
