# PDF Complete vs QCNotes

The clearest difference is ads: QCNotes at none against PDF Complete's shown. PDF Complete's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Complete sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QCNotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Complete ships an update every 11 days, QCNotes every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
