# Live Location Tracker vs Location Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Location Tracker at 50% against Live Location Tracker's 0%. Location Tracker also leads on ratings volume (405 vs 12). Live Location Tracker's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Location Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and Location Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Location Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Location Tracker has 405 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Live Location Tracker's written reviews are positive against 50% of Location Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Location Tracker ships an update every 11 days, Location Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
