# eDots vs Afterwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Afterwise at every 3 days against eDots's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eDots sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Afterwise sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eDots ships an update weekly, Afterwise every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
