# Nostroots vs Hitchmap

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hitchmap at every 2 days against Nostroots's every 10 days. Hitchmap also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nostroots ships an update every 10 days, Hitchmap every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
