# MindNote vs Apper

The clearest difference is update cadence: Apper at every 2 days against MindNote's every 2 weeks. MindNote's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Apper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Apper every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
