# FacePiP vs Math Beast

The clearest difference is monetization model: Math Beast at free against FacePiP's free with in-app purchases. Math Beast also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). FacePiP's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FacePiP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Math Beast sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FacePiP against 5.0 for Math Beast. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

FacePiP ships an update every 2 weeks, Math Beast monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
