I like numbers and charts, but writing doesn’t excite me so much. I would like to keep a journal so I can remember what I did. Stamps Journal is what I made to solve that problem. This is an app that I created for myself and use daily. I find it incredibly useful. Feel free to try it since it’s free. If you find it useful for you too, that’s great. If not, delete it and there’s no loss. Some app highlights: Stamps Journal is your personal database for life’s little details. * Log in a Tap: Use custom stamps for things like washing your hair, changing your contacts, or taking medication. * Recall Effortlessly: Scroll through your timeline to find exactly when something happened. * Rich Context: Easily add money spent, duration, location, or a star rating to any entry. Your logs are more than just memories; they’re data! * Spot the Patterns: See your coffee habits, workout streaks, or spending trends through simple, informative charts. * Widgets for the Win: Keep your goals front-and-center with Home Screen and Desktop widgets that show your progress at a glance. * Works Everywhere: Syncs seamlessly across your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch via iCloud. Your life is your business. Period. * Your Data, Your iCloud: Everything stays on your devices or in your private iCloud. I have zero access to your logs. * No Lock-In: If you ever decide to leave, you can export your entire history. You’re here because you find the app useful, not because your data is held hostage. Stop trying to remember everything. Start stamping. Made with 100% SwiftUI & SwiftData in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Most days follow a familiar flow. In LIFE/CTRL you build that flow first as a pattern, a LIFE, then add each day's plans on top of it. Make as many LIFEs as you like: weekdays, days off, days out and more. Put a LIFE on a calendar date and it becomes that day's plan. Add plans or changes for just that day, and the pattern stays as it is. Inside a LIFE, the day is divided into blocks by time and task, and you add parts, your actions, to each block. Your Home Screen widget keeps showing the tasks you need right now. 《How it works》 ■ Create with CTRL Answer a few questions and CTRL builds a day from wake-up to sleep. You can also type a request to adjust an existing LIFE, create a part, or add TODO items and alarms. ■ Build reusable parts Turn brushing your teeth, meals, work, shopping and other activities into timed parts. Choose an icon and colour, then reuse each part across multiple LIFE templates. ■ Arrange your day Place parts inside blocks such as WAKE, WORK, HOME and SLEEP. Since wake-up starts the day and sleep ends it, schedules that cross midnight, including night shifts, work naturally. ■ Assign LIFE templates to dates Assign a LIFE to a calendar date to create that day. Keep settings that apply every time separate from changes for one specific date. ■ Run the day from widgets Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show the current block and its parts. Mark actions complete without opening the app. ■ TODO items and alarms Store belongings or steps inside a part as TODO items. Alarms support sound, snooze and vibration-only options. Available in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Spanish. Free, with no ads or in-app purchases. Your routine data is stored on your device. Only if you allow CTRL's input interpretation is the text you type sent through our server to Google Gemini. Alarm features require iOS 26 or later.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: LIFE/CTRL at every 2 days against Stamps Journal's weekly. LIFE/CTRL also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Stamps Journal's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
