# Energy Forecast vs ScrollOut

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScrollOut at every 3 days against Energy Forecast's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Energy Forecast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ScrollOut sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Energy Forecast ships an update monthly, ScrollOut every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
