# VidPair vs Re

The clearest difference is ads: VidPair at none against Re's shown. VidPair also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Re's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VidPair sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Re sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VidPair ships an update every 2 days, Re every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
