# Steply vs Resolution

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Steply at 130 against Resolution's 3. Resolution's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steply sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Resolution sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Steply against 5.0 for Resolution. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steply has 130 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Steply's written reviews are positive against 100% of Resolution's.

Steply ships an update weekly, Resolution every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
