# Snitch vs Gut Feel

The clearest difference is rating: Gut Feel at 4.8 against Snitch's 3.0. Gut Feel also leads on ratings volume (72 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). Snitch's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 67%). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snitch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per 7 days and Gut Feel sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gut Feel holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gut Feel has 72 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Snitch's written reviews are positive against 67% of Gut Feel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Snitch ships an update every 8 days, Gut Feel every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
