# Steppa vs Walka

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Walka at 100% against Steppa's 54%. Walka also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Steppa's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steppa sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Walka sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Walka holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steppa has 1.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Steppa's written reviews are positive against 100% of Walka's.

Steppa ships an update every 10 days, Walka every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
