# Steppa vs wayloop

The clearest difference is ads: wayloop at none against Steppa's shown. wayloop also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Steppa's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 2) and chart position (#208 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steppa sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and wayloop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

wayloop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steppa has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Steppa ships an update every 9 days, wayloop every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
