# Wave vs Bntrry

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bntrry at every 10 days against Wave's monthly. Bntrry also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Wave against 5.0 for Bntrry. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bntrry has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wave ships an update monthly, Bntrry every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
