# nanogram vs PicPit

The clearest difference is rating: nanogram at 4.8 against PicPit's 3.9. nanogram also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). PicPit's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicPit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. nanogram asks for nothing beyond the download.

nanogram holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: nanogram has 575 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of nanogram's written reviews are positive against 83% of PicPit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
