# Habit Tracker vs Protocol66

The clearest difference is update cadence: Protocol66 at every 2 weeks against Habit Tracker's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habit Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Protocol66 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
