# FomoShort vs Amorshort

The clearest difference is rating: Amorshort at 4.1 against FomoShort's 2.8. Amorshort also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (184 vs 6). FomoShort's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FomoShort sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Amorshort sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Amorshort holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amorshort has 184 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of FomoShort's written reviews are positive against 0% of Amorshort's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FomoShort ships an update every 10 days, Amorshort every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
