# eCollection vs LiteracyPlanet

The clearest difference is rating: eCollection at 4.0 against LiteracyPlanet's 2.3. eCollection also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). LiteracyPlanet's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eCollection holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of eCollection's written reviews are positive against 22% of LiteracyPlanet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eCollection ships an update every 6 months, LiteracyPlanet fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
