# Zwind vs AlterSend

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AlterSend at none against Zwind's 9. AlterSend also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.0 vs 3.6). Zwind's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zwind sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. AlterSend asks for nothing beyond the download.

AlterSend holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Zwind's written reviews are positive against 50% of AlterSend's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zwind ships an update every 6 days, AlterSend every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
