# nofu vs GymBook

The clearest difference is ads: nofu at none against GymBook's shown. nofu also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). GymBook's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. nofu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and GymBook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

nofu ships an update every 5 weeks, GymBook every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
