# nofu vs StartRunning

The clearest difference is update cadence: StartRunning at fortnightly against nofu's every 5 weeks. StartRunning also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. nofu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and StartRunning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

nofu ships an update every 5 weeks, StartRunning fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
