# SoloSprint vs Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulse at every 3 weeks against SoloSprint's every 2 months. SoloSprint's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoloSprint sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pulse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoloSprint ships an update every 2 months, Pulse every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
