# Notes to Reminders vs Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Notes to Reminders at none against Countdown's shown. Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Notes to Reminders ships an update every 2 months, Countdown every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
