# Aurisper vs Nimbus8

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Aurisper at none against Nimbus8's 2. Aurisper also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Nimbus8's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nimbus8 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Aurisper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aurisper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nimbus8 has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Aurisper ships an update every 6 days, Nimbus8 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
