# Exaequo vs SubAlert

The clearest difference is ads: Exaequo at none against SubAlert's shown. SubAlert's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exaequo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SubAlert sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
