# Saradays vs Minimal Diary

The clearest difference is ads: Saradays at none against Minimal Diary's shown. Minimal Diary's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Saradays sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Minimal Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Saradays ships an update every 2 months, Minimal Diary every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
