# Readrush vs Passage

The clearest difference is ads: Readrush at none against Passage's shown. Readrush also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Passage's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readrush sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Passage sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readrush ships an update every 3 weeks, Passage every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
