# Knitting vs Fileika

The clearest difference is update cadence: Knitting at every 6 days against Fileika's fortnightly. Knitting also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16 vs 18.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knitting sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Fileika sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knitting ships an update every 6 days, Fileika fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 11, 2026 respectively.
