# Moodlith vs dab

The clearest difference is ads: Moodlith at none against dab's shown. Moodlith also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). dab's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moodlith sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and dab sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Moodlith ships an update every 5 days, dab every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
