# Timer4 vs Cove

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cove at every 2 days against Timer4's every 4 weeks. Cove also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer4 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cove sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer4 ships an update every 4 weeks, Cove every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
