# AirFish vs Cat Hourglass

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cat Hourglass at every 2 days against AirFish's every 2 weeks. AirFish's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirFish sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Cat Hourglass sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AirFish ships an update every 2 weeks, Cat Hourglass every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
