# PyramidLoop vs VividShortify

The clearest difference is rating: PyramidLoop at 4.8 against VividShortify's 3.0. PyramidLoop also leads on ratings volume (88 vs 9). VividShortify's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 38%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PyramidLoop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VividShortify sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PyramidLoop holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PyramidLoop has 88 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of PyramidLoop's written reviews are positive against 67% of VividShortify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PyramidLoop ships an update every 4 days, VividShortify every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
