# Void Widgets vs Skycast

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Skycast at 100% against Void Widgets's 62%. Skycast also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Void Widgets's advantage is ratings volume (96 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Void Widgets sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Skycast sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skycast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Void Widgets has 96 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Void Widgets's written reviews are positive against 100% of Skycast's.

Void Widgets ships an update every 2 weeks, Skycast every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
