# Countdown Pro vs Spellbook

The clearest difference is rating: Spellbook at 4.6 against Countdown Pro's 3.6. Spellbook also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 81%) and ratings volume (22 vs 5). Countdown Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Spellbook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
