# StickPulse vs Rudimentalist

The clearest difference is update cadence: StickPulse at every 3 weeks against Rudimentalist's every 2 months. Rudimentalist's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StickPulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Rudimentalist sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StickPulse ships an update every 3 weeks, Rudimentalist every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
