# EC8PLATFORM vs MealFit Planner

The clearest difference is update cadence: EC8PLATFORM at fortnightly against MealFit Planner's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EC8PLATFORM sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $79.99 per month and MealFit Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EC8PLATFORM ships an update fortnightly, MealFit Planner every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
