# LetterGrid vs Say The Same

The clearest difference is ads: LetterGrid at none against Say The Same's shown. LetterGrid also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). Say The Same's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LetterGrid sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Say The Same sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
