# Космос VPN vs CHOP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Космос VPN at none against CHOP's 3. Космос VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 61%). CHOP's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CHOP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Космос VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

CHOP holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 162 and 76 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Космос VPN's written reviews are positive against 61% of CHOP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Космос VPN ships an update every 2 months, CHOP every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
