# Themely vs Boxwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Themely at every 3 days against Boxwise's every 11 days. Themely also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Themely sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Boxwise sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Themely ships an update every 3 days, Boxwise every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
